The strength of an industrial vehicle with the handling of a van: New Daily Chassis Cab is unbeatable for use on construction sites. It is agile in cities and quick on transfers.

With a single or twin wheel rear axle, it is designed and built to work hard. It is the ideal solution for fixed and tipping bodies, alloy and refrigerated van bodies and special applications, like waste collection vehicles, ambulances and motorhomes. Structural strength is guaranteed by a ladder chassis that is made to last, and provides excellent support for all types of bodies. This practically designed chassis is the favourite of body and equipment fitters as it provides a completely flat upper surface. The gearbox also comes with provision for a flanged PTO that can deliver up to 180 Nm of usable torque.

The Expansion Module has been developed to allow the integration of vehicle electronics with that of any additional bodybuilder equipment connections that utilize standard CAN configuration. Particularly important for construction site missions is the crew cab version with 6 seats + driver.

"Expansion Module" has been developed to enable the integration of the electronics of the vehicle with that of the design. All connections are routed through standard connections CAN.

Particularly important for the mission buildings the double cab with 6 seats + driver. New Iveco Daily driving with license B (up to 3.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight).

Environmentally friendly engines.

Daily embodies the latest engine technology, by providing maximum respect for the environment.

The Daily engines provide maximum flexibility in the world of medium commercial professional transport: maximum torque is available from even the lowest revs and is constant for a wide range of operation.

All of the inspection points for routine checks are easily accessible (this also contributes to minimising vehicle downtime).

Design innovation makes the Daily one of the most economical medium commercial vehicles available, while operating with excellent fuel economy.

The new Daily engines have been improved in terms of technology and performance.

Two types of engine, compliant to Euro 3 emissions standard, are available:

2.3 litre Common Rail Turbo Intercooler: Delivers 116 HP with a maximum torque of 270 Nm for 3.5 ton GVM single wheel vans.

3 litre Common Rail Turbo Intercooler: Delivers 146 HP with maximum torque of 350 Nm on all twin rear wheel vans at 5.4 Tons GVM.  **

**The 3.0 engine (available on all models) has great torque and power. The 3.0 HPI deliver s 146 HP (107kW), with torque of 350 Nm.

The highest torque at the lowest number of revolutions, combined with the movement of the rear traction, make the NEW DAILY unbeatable on any road. The turbine guarantees high performance levels and optimises the inflow of air to the combustion chamber. ?

The quality of our engines is shown by a constant maximum torque over a wide range, available from the lowest engine speed, meaning they are comfortable in heavy traffic and respond quickly to sudden acceleration. The reduced strain on the engine means lower fuel consumption, increased productivity and less mechanical stress, ensuring a longer lifespan. The high level of innovation makes the NEW DAILY engine among the most eco-friendly on the market: this means fewer traffic restrictions today and a higher residual value tomorrow.

     

Daily Chassis Cab Comfort

Comfortable, manageable, and pleasant to drive.

Daily is characterised by ease of cab access - thanks to the wide opening of the doors and anti-slip steps.

The cab is optimally sound-proofed and climate controlled, and was designed to advanced ergonomic principles: The gear shift lever in the dash, the steering wheel and the controls adopting car styling, the many storage compartments within easy reach of the driver (from the document clip to the 4 DIN sized compartments). All of these features make the Daily a pleasant working environment, improving concentration and reducing driver fatigue.

The easy cross cab access allows the driver to get out from either side of the vehicle - a great advantage when loading and unloading in tight spots.

The seats with integrated headrests are finished in new materials, and the driver's seat has three adjustment levels, height, reach and rake. It is also optionally available in heated, lumbar support, heated suspended with lumbar support and arm rest versions.

On the passenger side you can choose between a double seat or adjustable single seats, there is also an optional 6 litre storage drawer under the dual passenger bench.

The manoeuvrability of the Daily is enhanced by the wide steering angles, allowing exceptional agility in small spaces.

Daily Chassis Cab Gearboxes & Suspension

Solutions for all missions.

The Daily Chassis Cab is equipped, depending on the engine, with manual 5 or 6 speed transmissions. The Daily offers a complete range of suspensions able to satisfy the needs of any mission, and offers car level comfort at the same time.

Depending on the engine, Daily Chassis Cab  are equipped with:

5 speed mechanical gearboxes plus reverse on 2.3 litre Common Rail Turbo Intercooler engine.

6 speed mechanical gearboxes plus reverse on 3 litre Common Rail Turbo Intercooler engine.

With regards to the suspension offering,

At the front, independent suspension with telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers and torsion bar (transversal leaf spring on 35S “Single rear wheel” models) and anti roll bars; on the rear axle, parabolic or, semi-elliptical with hydraulic telescopic shock absorbers and anti roll bar.

All Euro5 versions are available automated transmission AGile ™ 6-speed and reverse.

Change AGile™ choosing the right gear according to the route and the load, thus reducing the fatigue of the driver, optimising fuel consumption and reducing component wear.

The electronic controls, in fact, prevent the "over-revving" so fewer demands on the engine are placed and thus ensures a longer life. Change AGile™ also analyzes the pressure on the accelerator pedal, and adapts its response to the driving style of the driver. It is used both in automatic mode, in either sequenziale.
